Data Engineer Manager (Retail)
Location: Charlotte, NC
Contract: 6 months to start
Rate: $95 per hour
Must Have Skills
1) Strong proficiency in SQL, Python and Spark programming languages.
2) Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a must.
3) Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and distributed computing frameworks.
4) Knowledge of data lake and data warehouse solutions, including Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Airflow etc.
5) Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines for automating build, test, and deployment processes.
6) Solid understanding of data modeling concepts, data warehousing architectures, and data management best practices.
7) Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive consensus on technical decisions.
8) Prior experience in leading multiple teams
Nice to Have Skills
1) Recent (not more than 3 years old) hands on experience on Azure tech stack.
2) Experience on Retail domain data.
3) Prior experience on working with offshore team (India , Europe..etc) .

1) Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
2) Proven experience (12 +) in a data engineering role, with expertise in designing and building data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouses with 2+ years of Team Manager role.
3) Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure, databricks, snowflake) would be a plus.
