We are seeking a skilled IT Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between the IT department and business units, translating business needs into technical requirements. The IT Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities - Requirement Gathering:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Process Analysis:
- Analyze and model current business processes and workflows.
- Identify inefficiencies and propose optimized solutions.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication across all parties involved in the project.
- Solution Design:
- Work with developers and designers to create solutions that meet business requirements.
- Participate in the design and review of new applications or enhancements to existing systems.
- Testing and Validation:
- Develop test plans and test cases based on functional specifications.
- Assist in system and user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Project Management Support:
- Assist in project planning, risk management, and issue resolution.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Documentation:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process flows, use cases, and user manuals.
- Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications - Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 3+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Proven experience in requirement gathering, process analysis, and system implementation.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in business process modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and data analysis tools is a plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
