Position: Technical Project Manager
Location: Portland, OR – Remote
(Travel to Portland Required 5% of time)
Duration: 12+ months
Responsibilities:
- Manage the upgrade of Maximo to the new version called Maximo Application Suite (MAS), ensuring a smooth transition from the previous version.
- Oversee the project's migration to the cloud, moving from an on-premises solution to a hosted solution with a managed services plan.
- Coordinate with multiple vendors, including PwC for implementation and IBM for Day 2 support, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration.
- Lead and participate in executive communications, effectively bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Strong technical project management experience, preferably with experience in cloud migrations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage in executive-level discussions.
- Experience with Maximo or similar enterprise asset management systems is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with IBM SAS cloud or similar cloud technologies.
- Ability to travel to Portland for key project milestones, estimated at less than 5% of the project duration.
