Job Description
***Only qualified Database Developer Engineer candidates located near the New York City, NY to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***
Market Sales Technology department mainly supports Markets and Securities Services of SMB, which are the major key businesses of investment bank industry globally. To join a team which is building a Company Internal Sales Web Platform, the one who is an electronic distribution of Markets and Securities Services within Company SMB.
Education:
• Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science, EE, Mathematics or related majors with Financial knowledge or background is a plus
Required Technical Skills:
• Must be familiar with Oracle Database(P-SQL) or MS SQL Server(T-SQL)
• Must be familiar with program on store procedure for script coding
• Must be familiar with No SQL DB like Elasticsearch DB or MongoDB
• Familiar with Database performance tuning process and approach
• Familiar with all kinds of ETL tool for doing data mining and analytics
• Experience in big data platform
• Experience on Gen-AI training, mode in use is a plus
• Experience in Linux command lines
Required Non-Technical Skills:
• 3+ years working experience on Data/Database/Data Warehouse area
• Demonstrate analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skillset for simple and easy interaction Business and Global Dev team
Job Responsibilities:
• Hands on data model design in SQL and NO-SQL database, design and code on the store procedure to implement the business knowledge
• Hands on data quality improvement and communication with global business for supporting
• Deliver high quality work and consistently meets requirements and standards, plans and prioritizes work well to meet deadlines
• Involving into or do system/component design & implementation with counterparty in New York, London, and other locations
• Communicate with global dev counterparty/teams for the requirements and technical details
• Takes ownership to resolve difficult issues, even when not clearly within own area of responsibility
