Job Summary: The Senior Manager of Analytics and Insights will oversee the development and execution of analytical strategies that drive business decisions and performance improvements. This role involves leading a team of analysts, working closely with senior leadership, and leveraging data to provide actionable insights. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of data analytics tools, and the ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and actionable manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Manage: Direct and mentor a team of analysts to ensure the effective delivery of insights and analysis. Foster a collaborative environment and support professional development.
- Strategic Insights: Develop and implement data-driven strategies to support business objectives. Translate complex data into actionable insights that drive decision-making and strategic planning.
- Data Analysis: Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of large datasets. Utilize advanced statistical techniques and data modeling to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- Reporting and Visualization: Create and present comprehensive reports and dashboards to senior leadership. Utilize data visualization tools to effectively communicate insights and recommendations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including marketing, finance, and operations, to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights.
- Performance Measurement: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business strategies and initiatives.
- Technology and Tools: Stay current with the latest analytics tools, technologies, and best practices. Evaluate and implement new tools to enhance analytical capabilities and efficiency.
- Project Management: Lead analytics projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results. Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in data analytics or a related field, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in data analytics tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis, data modeling, and predictive analytics.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
