Title: Marketing Data Operations Analyst
Duration: 3+ months contract
Location: San Francisco, CA
Job Summary: We are seeking a Marketing Data Operations Analyst to join our Marketing Data Operations & Technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering key projects that support our go-to-market organization by enhancing the operational efficiency of our extensive marketing technology stack. This role focuses on auditing, improving, and managing data orchestration processes within our current systems, particularly Openprise, Salesforce, and Marketo.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a thorough audit of active and inactive jobs within the current Openprise implementation.
- Identify and document the impacts of data orchestration efforts, particularly in Salesforce and Marketo.
- Review and streamline connected data sources and targets, removing unnecessary data and implementing effective data management approaches within Openprise or other tools as necessary.
- Rebuild and improve existing jobs within Openprise where opportunities for optimization exist.
- Recommend and develop new jobs to support data quality and database health initiatives.
- Collaborate across multiple data platforms and core marketing technologies to support ongoing projects.
- Deliver clear documentation of audits, process improvements, and data orchestration efforts across the marketing technology stack.
Skills & Experience:
Required:
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience managing and working with Openprise at an administrative capacity.
- Extensive experience working with data, either directly or via APIs, in Salesforce and Marketo.
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills through previous projects or roles.
- Experience with Snowflake/data warehousing solutions and solid knowledge of SQL.
- Proven ability to work with business stakeholders to understand workflows and requirements and translate them into solution designs and deliveries.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Python experience.
- Experience integrating with analytics and data orchestration platforms such as FiveTran, Tableau, Datorama, Google Data Studio/Looker Studio.
Success Criteria:
- Complete and well-documented audit of the current Openprise implementation.
- Successful rebuild and improvement of existing processes to address future business needs.
- Effective recommendations and delivery of data orchestration processes, including person-level deduplication, database health support, and account/lead matching.
- Well-managed and documented data orchestration efforts across the marketing technology stack.
