Role Description
Berry Solutions is looking for a motivated and experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team in a part-time, remote capacity. This role is pivotal in driving the growth of our IT and BPO services by identifying new business opportunities, conducting comprehensive market research, engaging with potential clients, and setting up meetings and appointments to secure partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the IT and BPO sectors, utilizing various channels such as online research, networking, and industry events.
- Market Research: Conduct detailed market analysis to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities. Use this information to inform business development strategies and identify target clients.
- Client Engagement: Initiate and maintain communication with potential clients through email, phone calls, and social media. Build and nurture relationships to understand client needs and position Berry Solutions as the ideal partner.
- Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings and appointments with prospective clients, ensuring a structured and efficient approach to client engagement. Coordinate with internal teams to prepare for these meetings, ensuring all client needs and potential opportunities are well understood.
- Proposal Development: Collaborate with internal teams to create customized proposals and presentations tailored to the specific needs of potential clients. Ensure that proposals highlight the value of Berry Solutions’ IT and BPO services.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Track and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring that all leads and client communications are documented and followed up on regularly. Utilize CRM tools to maintain accurate records and provide regular updates on progress.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the dedicated BPO team and other internal departments to ensure that client requirements are fully understood and met. Provide insights and feedback to help refine service offerings and improve client satisfaction.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and beyond. Ensure that client inquiries are addressed promptly and that their expectations are consistently exceeded.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on business development activities, including lead generation, market research findings, and progress towards meeting sales targets. Present these reports to senior management and suggest strategies for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills, with a focus on market research and lead generation in the IT and BPO sectors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with potential clients.
- Proven experience in business development and sales within the IT and BPO industries, with a track record of successfully closing deals.
