Key Responsibilities
- Develop an in-depth understanding of AP Microeconomics for effective teaching.
- Lead and facilitate engaging classroom discussions to enhance student learning.
- Prepare and organize course materials, including syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.
- Plan, assess, and update curricula and teaching methods to ensure high-quality education.
- Maintain regular office hours to support and guide students.
- Collaborate with center staff and management in selecting and acquiring necessary instructional materials.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to resolve teaching-related challenges.
- Create a positive and encouraging learning environment to boost student confidence.
- Be well-prepared and organized for each class session.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or higher in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 2 years of direct teaching or tutoring experience.
- Reliable transportation for commuting.
- Availability to work during weekday afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
