Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), this full-time position supports the leadership of special projects, including integrating chiropractic into primary care, a patient safety strategy in chiropractic, and standardizing an Electronic Health Record (EHR) for Alberta chiropractors. It combines excellent technical skills, a customer service attitude, and strong project management skills. It is working closely with the CEO in executing all Chiropractic Association of Alberta activities. The ability to travel within Alberta is required (and potentially nationally).
Responsibilities and Activities
• With and through the CEO, lead and develop all special projects and programs for members, including integrating chiropractors into primary care and identifying, and implementing an EHR for Alberta chiropractors
• Ensure the Association engages in innovative projects that will drive the profession forward
• Presentation and key meetings with Primary Care Networks, Government, and the Board
• Seek to fully understand member priorities and communicate effectively with internal/external stakeholders
• Ensure project success by completing projects on time and within budget
• All phases of project management, including the development and administration of project proposals, contract, and budget requirements, and implementing and evaluating
• Maintain awareness through environmental scanning – scan and review literature, research, websites, and news related to chiropractic care.
