The excitement during auctions, the anticipation of bidding wars, and the satisfaction of successful auctions create a unique atmosphere.Job SummaryThe Creative Marketing Manager at STAIR will be responsible for the development, creation and management of creative content, with a strong emphasis on managing our graphic design needs and website content. Your work will live across our marketing ecosystem, which includes (but is not limited to) social media, photo and video content, website, email, advertising, gallery collateral, catalogs, and marketing and sales materials. The Creative Marketing Manager will collaborate with various team members to ensure content aligns with STAIR’S goals and values, reporting to the Director of Marketing. This is an in-person position. You are a doer who is hands on and proactive, has excellent project management, loves storytelling and has proven creative effectiveness.Responsibilities:
- Enthusiastically collaborates with internal teams and external creative partners and platforms to ensure brand content aligns to values and objectives.
- Generate innovative, strategic ideas for cross-platform content based on target audience interests, industry trends, and marketing objectives.
- Create marketing materials across digital and IRL touchpoints, with support from marketing team and input from STAIR specialists
- Partner with the marketing team to create consistent and cohesive marketing calendars based on asset needs and sale dates.
- Manage regular website updates, with support from the extended marketing and IT team
- Work along our Photo department to plan, attend and manage photoshoots from concept to implementation
- Occasional participation in projects related to the STAIR family office
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in content creation and digital marketing – and be willing to share what inspires you!
- Additional projects as requiredMinimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Art History, Graphic Design related fields or equivalent.
- Portfolio or work samples of demonstrated experience within marketing, advertising, creative campaigns or content creation, with 5-8 years of experience
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and proficiency in grammar and punctuation.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and relevant software/tools for content creation (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, WordPress, MailChimp).
- Knowledge of photography, videography, editing tools, illustration, design principles, and Adobe Suite.
- Familiarity with analytics tools and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Passion for storytelling and connecting with audiences through compelling content preferable in decorative arts, antiques, and fine furniture.
