What's the position?
We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist specialized in Marketing Analytics to join our rapidly growing data science team. As part of the Data Science team, you will be a technical contributor supporting cutting-edge technology, operations, and marketing needs. The role requires an individual who's technically talented, able to manage massively distributed datasets, and architect and implement data science models for marketing our casino and sports mobile Apps.
- Strong expertise in developing and implementing marketing mix models (MMM) and multi-touch attribution (MTA) models using Bayesian approaches
- Proficiency in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data mining techniques specifically applied to marketing problems
- Experience with marketing intelligence tools such as AppsFlyer, Funnel, Singular and/or Nielsen/VisualIQ
- Advanced skills in customer segmentation, lifetime value prediction, and churn analysis in a marketing context
- Ability to work with large, complex datasets and distributed computing environments
- Excellent programming skills in Python, R, SQL and similar languages
- Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, metrics, and KPIs
- Expertise in translating complex analytical findings into actionable marketing insights for non-technical stakeholders
- Extensive experience in A/B testing and experimental design for marketing campaigns
- Proficiency with digital analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
- Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data analyses to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in developing predictive models for customer acquisition, retention, and engagement
What are we looking for?
- A minimum of 3 years in data science focused on Marketing, with extensive experience in developing Bayesian models for MMM/MTA
- 5+ years in Data Science, with a strong focus on marketing analytics
- Proven track record of delivering high-impact data science projects in a marketing context
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Snowflake, Databricks) for large-scale data processing and model hosting
- Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) for marketing dashboards and reports
Preferred:
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Marketing Analytics, or a related quantitative field
- Experience in the igaming, and sports bet industry
- Expertise in privacy regulations and best practices for handling sensitive customer data in marketing contexts
- Experience with real-time personalization and recommendation systems for marketing campaigns
- Contributions to open-source projects or published research in marketing analytics or related fields
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and their integration with data science workflows
