Key skills to look at( Must have):
- Query optimization and performance troubleshooting 5 to 8 years of experience
- Experience working on large databases size between 10TB to 30 TB
- Very good knowledge of MSSQL server internals
- Hands-on experience working with table partitioning and maintenance (expert)
- HA/DR good hands-on experience troubleshooting Always ON and clustering
- Automation: PowerShell / Python / T-SQL ( 8 /10 at least) – worked on automation projects
Secondary Skills:
- At least 6 months of AWS RDS experience
Good to have:
- Database knowledge/expertise on MySQL/ PostgreSQL, RedShift, Snowflake, Oracle etc..
Mandatory skills - SQL Server administration required skills
