Sully.ai is a Seed round startup with a mission to make “one human, one doctor” a reality by working toward the goal of creating an AI doctor to save more lives and solve the doctor shortage/availability in the world. Worldwide, people are grappling with a shortage of doctors, a challenge in every country on Earth. This issue significantly impacts overall human health. In the US, for example, there are 1.9 Physicians (Per every 1,000 people). Our mission is to make it a 1:1 ratio. We aim to be the organization that saves the most lives in human history by making high quality healthcare available to everyone, anywhere, anytime.
Goal 1: Healthcare is way behind; it still feels like it’s the 80s, and building a better infrastructure for doctors is an obvious first step. Using AI, 100% of doctors’ admin work can be automated.
Goal 2: Copilot for doctors. After we streamline the admin work and documentation for doctors, we focus on reducing the chances of misdiagnosis.
Ultimately, we aim to enhance doctors' capabilities, making them superhuman so they can serve every person on the planet at any given time, similar to how Tesla transformed the automotive industry and Amazon revolutionized e-commerce.

Over 1 billion patient care visits occur in the US annually, and the current average cost per visit is $300. When future visits are done by an ASI (Artificial Super Intelligence) doctor at a 10x cheaper cost ($29 per visit), it’s $3.9B in revenue in the US only and $25B+ globally.

About the Role
We are searching for an exceptional Full Stack Engineer with leadership flair who wants to play a key role in shaping the current and future capabilities of our product. The right individual is a healthcare enthusiast, keen on using AI to tackle significant challenges in the industry. You will be one of the first engineers to join the Sully.ai team and will work closely with the co-founders daily. You will be responsible for building out the core components of the product, growing and building out the engineering team and taking the product to the next level.
What You’ll Do
- Enhance existing systems and build new ones from scratch by yourself and/or by leading other engineers.
- Create new APIs (along with proper documentations) from scratch.
- Implement and manage robust security and data protection measures
- Map out complex technical processes and cultivate a culture of engineering
- excellence.
- Help identify and recruit top-tier technical talent.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation
What We’re Looking For
- BS/MS/PhD in CS or a related field.
- 4+ years experience in full-stack software development
- A history of building high-quality, well-tested products
- DevOps experience and expertise
- Experience working on AI/ML applications is a big plus
- Previous startup experience, ideally at a Seed/Series A company.
- Tech Stack - ReactJS, NodeJS/Express, Bootstrap/Tailwind/Other, NoSQL/SQL, CI/CD, GCP/Azure/AWS
- Bonus: Experience with Applied GenAI, LLMOps, LLM evals
- Advanced proficiency in software development methodologies, programming
- languages, and system architecture.
- A strategic mindset to spotlight innovative opportunities. You see a problem that needs fixing and dive right in.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects within a given budget and timelines.
- A tech-savvy innovator always aiming to enhance our products and services.
- Flexibility to dive into any area of the stack as required.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to lead by example.
Salary range starts at $200K and will vary based on experience + equity
