In this role, you will lead the development of Python applications focused on ESG technology solutions within the asset management or financial services industry. You will leverage your extensive experience to create innovative models that align with business objectives and enhance decision-making processes.

Requirements
- 7+ years of overall experience, with 1-3 years in an ESG technology-focused role
- Proficiency in Python and basic libraries for machine learning such as scikit-learn and pandas
- Experience with machine learning tools such as scikit-learn, R, Theano, TensorFlow, SparkML, or Foundry
- Familiarity with modeling types including classification, regression, time series, clustering, text analytics, survival, association, optimization, and reinforcement learning
- Understanding of data models, large datasets, business/technical requirements, BI tools, and statistical programming languages and libraries
- Functional knowledge of data visualization libraries such as matplotlib or ggplot2, and other visualization tools like Microsoft Power BI, Quick Sight, or Tableau
- Knowledge of cloud and computing technologies such as Hadoop, Apache Spark, AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, data science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain data flow design and technical requirements documentation that meets Agile product development standards
- Understand business objectives and develop models that help achieve them, along with metrics to track their progress
- Demonstrate the results of various algorithmic approaches and evaluate their performance
- Leverage modern technologies including Python, R, Scala, and Spark to analyze large datasets and implement systems for automatic data collection, curation, and model training
- Analyze diverse data sources, extract features, train and test models, and productionalize models that significantly improve business outcomes
- Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to develop predictive algorithms
- Train models and tune their hyperparameters.
