Purpose of the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with the EMEA Payroll Director to deliver specific and focused tasks within the HR Payroll discipline. A truly diverse role that will give you exposure to all things people, systems, and payroll, with a key focus on controls and efficiencies. You will collaborate closely with our teams across EMEA, collating, analysing, and presenting your findings to the EMEA Payroll Director.
Key Responsibilities
Gather business requirements, inputs, and feedback across the EMEA region,
developing proposals that move the payroll and business transformation forwards.
Engage with EMEA HR and Finance teams and build good working relationships
that produce effective solutions.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies across processes and controls,
ensuring compliance and legislative requirements are met along with company policy alignment.
Assist in streamlining payroll processes through collation and analysis of market activities.
Document and analyse key findings, such as process flaws, control failures and gaps, potential risk areas and any additional areas of improvements.
Communicate findings in a clear, concise, focused, but easy to understand way in a variety of formats.
Substantive knowledge of HR and Payroll processes, to establish dynamic processes to support effectiveness driving continuous improvement of payroll reporting and governance.
Qualifications & Skills
Strong analytical skills, ideally across HR, and payroll services, within both outsourcing & in-house environments.
Ability to understand and interpret business requirements and identify appropriate sources for analysis.
Experience working across the EMEA region is desirable.
Excellent attention to detail, with a tenacious approach and a passion for problem solving.
Ability to create effective and engaging visual presentations for a variety of stakeholders. Skilled in report writing.
Ability to work autonomously using your own initiative along with ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication, listening and collaboration abilities.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate with colleagues across all levels of the business.
Experience of using HRIS / Workday
