We are seeking a dynamic professional to serve as the primary point of contact for our clients while ensuring compliance in our food safety and organic programs. In this role, you will build strong client relationships and maintain high standards for safety and service across our operations. Our ideal candidate is a proactive and adaptable team player who embraces challenges and enjoys collaborating across different areas.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, handling weekly orders, invoicing, and resolving any customer complaints
- Assist in answering incoming phone calls
- Maintain strong client relationships by delivering excellent service and ensuring clear communication
- Maintain the company's Organic System Plan and supplier documentation
- Lead food safety policies and programs, including annual system reviews, internal audits, and training
- Ensure compliance with FSMA and FSVP regulations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory inspections and manage the recall procedure
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven relationship-building and customer service experience
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel and OneDrive)
- Detail-oriented with a systematic and thorough approach to problem solving
- Strong time management, organizational, and recordkeeping skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in compliance, account management, or within the produce industry preferred
- Bilingual – fluent in English and Spanish
