Role Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Mobile QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will report to the Director of Engineering and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality products and platforms.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee mobile testing executed by both on-site and offshore teams.
- Enhance product quality by identifying and helping to resolve bugs before release.
- Continuously improve testing processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Mitigate risks by identifying and addressing potential issues early in the development cycle.
- Develop automated test scripts and frameworks for improved mobile app performance on Android and iOS devices.
- Advocate for and implement industry best practices in quality assurance.
- Lead and mentor team members, contributing to the growth and development of the QA team.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.
- Demonstrated expertise in mobile native application testing.
- Experience providing QA for mobile, web, and back-end services.
- Proficiency in conducting usability tests and empathizing with users’ perspectives.
- Strong experience creating automation scripts from scratch.
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and TestRail for test case management and defect logging.
- Deep understanding of Agile software development lifecycle and QA methodologies.
- Keen eye for visual details and pixel-perfect designs.
- Capability to write and execute manual tests for mobile apps.
- Professional, positive, and approachable attitude with a self-starter mentality.
- Experience working in Agile and Kanban environments.
- Collaborative spirit and ability to work with external clients, partners, and vendors.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for company and team events (valid passport required).
Bonus Skills
- Experience in travel and/or loyalty-as-a-service industries.
- Expertise in Mobile Accessibility (508) testing on iOS and Android devices.
- Proficiency in mobile test automation frameworks (e.g., XCTest, XCUITest for iOS; Espresso, UI Automator for Android).

This is a remote position open to candidates located anywhere in the continental United States. While our company is based in the Central Time Zone, we offer flexibility in work hours and location. Feel free to work from your home office, a beach, or even a summer cottage!
