Summary
Provides technical support to department personnel in processing commercial insurance policies. Such serving will
include verbal and written communication internally with staff and externally with current clients and other office
support activities.
50% Client/Production Services
- Extracting and organizing data from loss runs.
- Creating loss presentations for production team.
- Reviewing loss runs to identify loss trends and communicate those trends to production and
- service teams.
- Improving efficiency, understanding customer needs, increasing profit and impacting business
- operations.
- Engage closely with various departments such as marketing, production, and service.
- Understand their specific data needs and deliver relevant and impactful analyses that support departmental and organizational goals.
- Attend renewal meetings at insured locations to present loss information.
30% Office Administration/File Management
Responsibilities include:
Documenting client files with up-to-date loss presentations, maintaining deadlines for reports, and
complete additional departmental tasks as assigned by the Commercial Claims Leader.
10% Teamwork
Works together with team and with other departments; includes conferencing with Producer or
Account Executive to discuss the execution of strategies. Manages PTO to work with departmental needs. Volunteers to back up and/or assist other Claims team members as needed.
10% Determination
Displays commitment and initiative to meet organizational and departmental goals.
Requirements
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years of related experience
and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certifications
Must hold applicable state insurance license or have the ability to obtain such within 90 days of
employment. Must be willing to obtain additional certifications that benefit the end goal of the
position.
