Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Network Engineer in Saint Paul, MN. Summary: The candidate will be responsible for BAU work. The Network Engineer will be installing servers and routers in the data center. They will be running fiber and copper cables. There will be a lot of audits and inventory to track serial numbers while tracking and receiving. They will be dealing with incident management and change management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, Technical or Vocational degree
- Installation, support and testing of data cables - category 6 cable, fiber, twinax, various power cables and configuration of smart power strips
- Installation, upgrades, and support of hardware such as servers, network, storage - Cisco/HP/Dell/IBM servers, Cisco switches and routers, F5, Checkpoint, DellEMC, NetApp
- Great attention to detail
- Technical support and troubleshooting
- Incident and change management
- Telecommunications - basic understanding
- Previous work in data center environment
- Asset management and asset auditing
- Professionalism, ambitious and ability to work in team environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
