Fide Community Manager

As Fide’s first Community Manager, you’ll play a key role in helping us kickstart our audience from zero to one. Your content and community management won’t just grow awareness of Fide – it will help our early community feel seen, instilling love for and understanding of our brand and mission even before the launch of our product. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants the challenge of building from scratch and the unique opportunity to shape a young brand and even influence our product.

What you'll do:
- Attract and engage the earliest members of Fide’s community, both on the Fide platform and on Fide’s social channels. Help us grow our audience from zero
- Foster relationships and a sense of belonging amongst Fide community members that align with company values of being a professional network based on authenticity
- Partner with Go-to-Market and Product collaborators to bring key brand themes and product features to life through creative and engaging social-native content, including video content
- Establish and manage a content calendar for priority social channels
- Help shape and uphold Fide’s brand voice and style across various social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, Discord, and LinkedIn, creating static and interactive content
- Find unique ways to react to cultural moments that tie to our app and join
- Join-in on relevant conversations, growing our visibility and spreading our message and values
- Develop social metric reports, track and understand trends and apply learnings to optimize future campaigns and help us learn about our early audience
- Support Fide’s cultivation of partnerships with influencers and creators in the career advice and career development space
Qualifications:
- 2-5+ years of relevant community management and content creation experience for a brand or creator (that brand or creative can be yours!)
- Obsessed with culture and internet trends
- Excellent writing, editing, and copy-editing skills, with the ability to adapt to social channels and audiences with a consistent brand voice
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram and Threads, TikTok, Discord, YouTube, and LinkedIn
- A flexible self-starter comfortable with the pace and ambiguities of an early stage startup
- Enthusiastic communicator and contributor; proactive communication and adaptableDetail-oriented with the ability to multi-task

The Salary Range for U.S. based candidates: $80,000 - $100,000 annually. The range shown is reflective of the current hiring salary range for this position.
As a fully remote company, final salary determinations will be adjusted within this range to reflect relative cost of living conditions within geographic locations; as with all of our compensation related decisions, these will correspond to competitive market compensation data. Our compensation philosophy is based on the size of our organization, the industry, market salary information, the strategic nature of the role, and the unique circumstances of our business.
