Modera is on the hunt for an experienced Content Marketing Specialist. At least, that’s the title. What we are really on the hunt for is an energetic, passionate marketer who has loads of drive and potential. Someone who’s a quick study, knows how to write, and has a good eye for graphics and brand consistency.
You see, Modera already has excellent designers, strategists, project managers, and some solid relationships with freelance talent. Our current team is small but very mighty. With our business growing rapidly, we see this new hire as an opportunity to add more structure to ensure our epic team remains invested in and supported. And to prepare for a ton of future growth.

As the Content Marketing Specialist, you'll be crucial in developing and executing engaging marketing campaigns, measuring performance metrics, and crafting compelling content across various channels for a number of brands in the health and wellness categories.
- Strategy: Collaborate, develop, and execute consistent and comprehensive content strategy for branding, advertising, and marketing campaigns.
- Production: Adhere to an established content schedule to produce written marketing materials that resonate with our target audience.
- Content Development: Create a broad array of content types across channels and platforms; including email, social media reels, shorts, and other short-form video content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Verify accuracy and consistency in written content by meticulously proofreading for grammatical, spelling, and content errors.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all content is consistent with the client’s brand guidelines including voice, style, and messaging across all platforms.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in health & wellness, social media, and content creation, and incorporate them into content strategies.
- Analytics: Monitor the performance of content across different platforms, providing insights and recommendations for improvement based on engagement metrics and audience feedback. Create reporting dashboards and present performance metrics at client meetings.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in content creation within the health and wellness industry
- Proficiency in content creation tools and software, including Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Figma.
- Excellent eye for detail, composition, and visual storytelling.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn) and their content requirements.
- Proficient with Google Suite, Google Analytics, and Apple products
- Knowledge of website platforms like WordPress
- Familiarity with email marketing tools such as MailChimp and Constant Contact
- Understanding of digital marketing concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Bonus points for experience in digital advertising like Meta and Google.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
