SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR
We are seeking a talented, creative and organized Content Coordinator to join our dynamic marketing team. As a Content Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in planning, creating, and distributing high-quality content across various digital platforms based on social media trends and our new products. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for producing engaging and relevant content. This is an in-person, full time office role located in Clearwater, FL. Join our amazing team of talented creatives!
DUTIES
- Content Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies aligned with overall marketing goals for both the wholesale and retail side of our company Conduct research to understand target audience preferences and industry trends Plan and organize content calendars to ensure consistent and timely content delivery.
- Content Creation: Write, edit, and proofread a variety of content types, including blog posts, articles, social media posts, and marketing collateral. Research and use trending hashtags unique to each post Take, edit, and post phone video content for reels and tiktoks based on marketing campaigns Shoot behind the scenes content of our photoshoots, the storefront, warehouse and more Post daily on all social platforms including posts, stories and more Work with subject matter experts to gather information and create informative and engaging content Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, style guidelines, and SEO best practices
- Content Distribution: Manage the distribution of content across various channels, including website, social media platforms Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook, FB VIP, Pinterest, email, and other digital platforms Audit website collections and listings on a daily basis to make sure they are up to date with most recent product drops Organize all professional content taken to make sure it’s all used to its fullest potential on all platforms Update websites (both retail and wholesale) with new photos and videos Monitor content performance and analyze key metrics to optimize future content strategies Collaborate with cross-functional teams to amplify content reach and impact
- Collaboration and Coordination: Liaise with graphic designers, marketing assistants and other creative professionals to enhance content with visuals and multimedia elements. Coordinate content review and approval processes with the Marketing Manager to ensure accuracy and consistency Maintain open communication with team members and other departments to stay informed about company updates and initiatives. Plan and execute special events with the marketing team for the office, storefront, and local markets
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular content audits to ensure accuracy, relevance, and adherence to brand guidelines Stay updated on industry best practices and recommend improvements to enhance the quality of content
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field Proven experience as a Content Coordinator or similar role.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills. Knowledge of SEO best practices and content marketing strategies.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced rapidly growing environment.
- Creative individual with a go-getter positive personality excited to create new content and think outside the box Experience with Shopify is preferred
