Role Overview
In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our pharmacy department. Your responsibilities will include maintaining policies and procedures, conducting audits, managing reports, overseeing information management, and ensuring the financial integrity of medication management.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with 340B policies and procedures in collaboration with the compliance pharmacist.
- Participate in training and educational initiatives for 340B program oversight.
- Contribute to 340B and other financial audits.
- Monitor, report, and analyze 340B activities for contract pharmacies.
- Develop and maintain reports to audit the pharmacy's financial performance related to billing, revenue, and operations.
- Validate data for accuracy and completeness.
- Track financial impacts, identify adverse trends, and recommend improvements for financial stability.
- Respond to data requests supporting clinical, regulatory, and financial best practices.
- Demonstrate proficiency with hospital information systems, split billing software, and other relevant tools.
- Analyze invoices, ordering, and inventory processes.
- Assist the pharmacy director with drug spend analytics and budget preparation.
- Comply with remote work requirements and adapt to additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field (e.g., accounting, finance) preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in hospital finance or 340B management is preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Repetitive use of hands and fingers (e.g., computer keyboard); may involve lifting up to 40 lbs., including boxes and equipment.
- Ability to sit, walk, or stand for extended periods (4-8 hours) as necessary.
Location and Schedule
This is a remote position, with expected availability 1-2 days per week.
Compensation
Hourly rate ranges from \(33.65 to \)38.46.
