Do you enjoy solving complex problems and ensuring systems run smoothly? In this role, you will manage and secure essential database technology, contributing to projects that have a significant impact. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining user profiles for database access, continuously seeking ways to optimize performance, tune databases, perform backups, and recover data. Additionally, you will configure database parameters and design prototypes based on logical data models, ensuring that the systems you manage are efficient and secure.
Your work will provide peace of mind to clients by developing and contributing to procedures that ensure the security and integrity of databases. Utilizing tools and technologies like Microsoft SQL, you will identify areas for improvement in mission-critical databases. Working closely with your team leads, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference by providing real-time data and performance insights that support critical operations.
What You Bring
- Proven experience with Microsoft SQL
- Expertise in creating and maintaining systems and triggers
- Background in managing database availability and supporting database design
- Experience with performance tuning and indexing
- Knowledge of Agile methodology
- Ability to manage data access and create accounts
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
It's Great if You Have
- Experience deploying database scripts, forms, and web solutions
- Knowledge of maintaining code repositories
- Experience with Configuration Management and Repository Management
- Experience with VM distribution, maintenance, refreshing, and creation
- Familiarity with applying STIGs and Security Patches
- CompTIA Security+ Certification

The projected salary range for this position is \(60,300.00 to \)137,000.00 annually, reflecting the typical range and is just one part of the total compensation package.
