Position Purpose
Serve as the marketing liaison, assessing marketing needs and coordinating the production and trafficking of marketing materials. Ensure that our brand identity is consistent, tailored to customers’ needs, and effectively communicated.
Location & Schedule:
- Full-time position
- Hybrid working model with 2 days remote and 3 days in-office in Detroit, MI
What We Require
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years of experience in marketing and project management
- Knowledge of sales promotion, direct marketing, trade show marketing, and interactive technology
- Valid, unrestricted driver's license (for most positions)
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in marketing
- Proven experience in project management
Your Contributions
- Manage day-to-day planning and execution of marketing elements for client events, conferences, sponsorships, and trade shows
- Share responsibility in managing brand standards
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing communications
- Plan and produce various destination marketing materials to promote the region
- Collaborate with design agencies and oversee marketing materials
- Maintain effective internal communications regarding marketing materials
- Act as project planner for all marketing-related projects and liaise with internal stakeholders’ project management teams
- Commit to embedding diversity, equity, and inclusion into company culture and operations, creating a welcoming environment for all
Additional Responsibilities
- Provide assistance and support as needed
- Complete required reports, records, and related documents accurately and promptly
- Execute special project assignments
- Prepare, process, and submit financial documents for vendor payment

Physical Demands And Working Conditions
- Extended periods of sitting or working at a desk, utilizing repetitive typing motions, and reading text on a video display monitor
- Ability to perform extensive standing and/or walking for work-related assignments and events
- Occasionally lift, push, and/or carry up to 25 lbs
