This role will interface with all levels of database architecture, automation, data movement, data manipulation, reporting, and analysis in support of current and prospective care management programs. Perfect for a flexible logician with superior problem-solving acumen, this role will challenge and inspire creativity while providing invaluable experience in the healthcare field. This role will help develop, maintain, and upgrade our robust data management architecture which includes our data warehousing, business intelligence, and analytics solutions. This role will also encourage creativity and innovation to help discover processes that can automate and provide the opportunity to follow through with the design and implementation of those automations.
Essential Functions
Technical Development and Oversight
- Set up automation and procedures for new client data or new processes (in SQL, Python, scheduling tools, and/or Bash)
- Maintain automated processes related to client data, internal data, and reference data
- Troubleshoot and correct issues with automated processes
- Develop file management tools to control movement of files and normalization of data
- Comply with SDLC processes
- Make enhancements and improvements to the data warehouse – table structures, content, relationships, update processes, performance
- Mentor and advise teammates
- Create and maintain Technical Specs from Business specs
- Create and maintain appropriate documentation
Process Improvement
- Identify data and reporting processes and work flows in need of improvement
- Work with stakeholders and other analysts to develop and implement improvements by utilizing available tools (Python, SQL, Excel, data visualization, etc)
Reporting
- Support development and maintenance of reporting environments including file manipulation and establishing automation
- Support data quality monitoring
- Participate in the development and deployment of new metrics
Provide analytical support for current and prospective clients
- Support loading, cleansing, and summarizing claims and other data from payor and provider partners
- Develop and maintain procedures that support the team’s reporting capabilities
- Write code to extract data and create data files from the data warehouses
Education And Experience
- 6-8 years of relevant professional experience
- Bachelors Degree required
- Extensive Python experience, including common python libraries, e.g., Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib
- Experience with SQL and managing relational databases including writing complex queries
- Expertise in computer programming (structured, object oriented) including experience and/or interest in other programming languages including C, C++, PL/SQL, VBA, and Bash
- Experience with testing & debugging, integrating databases & sources into unified systems. Knowledge of reliable testing & debugging tools and ability to perform system, unit, and integration tests.
- Experience with server-side languages, code versioning tools, front-end technologies
- Knowledge of integrating multiple data resources into a single system
- Capacity to work both solely on a project and with the team
- Inquisitiveness to learn & grow, to stay engaged, and work on finding the problems in time.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications

Salary/ Wage Range
$75,200.00 - $110,400.00 / year
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
