Role Overview
As a Data Entry Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our sports, concert, and theater event information is accurate and up-to-date. Your responsibilities will include researching and auditing event listings, standardizing event names and details, and coordinating with marketing managers to enhance ticket sales operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, compile, and manage essential event details (such as date, time, location, and venue configuration) for a high volume of live events in the sports and entertainment industry.
- Standardize event information for consistency both internally and externally.
- Ensure accurate linking of seller listings to the correct venue seating locations and corresponding venue maps.
- Continuously audit event and venue information to maintain accuracy on the website.
- Manage a dynamic workload in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks to positively impact the customer experience.
- Participate in large data gathering and analysis projects related to event information.
First 30, 60, and 90 Days
- 30 Days: Complete new hire training and gain resources needed for success. Understand team structure and company values. Learn how ticket marketplaces operate and your role in enhancing stakeholder experiences. Acclimate to team and company norms, business objectives, and departmental protocols for event updates.
- 60 Days: Implement methods to positively impact team goals. Engage in ongoing learning to advance your skill set. Become familiar with advanced mapping tasks and processes for escalating issues. Develop into a more independent worker with the ability to multi-task effectively.
- 90 Days: Contribute to improving processes and technologies to support business goals. Cultivate and maintain relationships to advance objectives. Gain a comprehensive understanding of the mapping process, including event creation and collaboration.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in business analysis, finance, computer science, or a related field preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to analyze industry trends.
- Comfort with regularly reviewing multiple information sources to ensure accuracy.
- Highly organized, responsible, and adept at handling large amounts of data.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
- Strong interest in sports and entertainment events, performers, teams, and venues.
Work Schedule
- Initial training (first 3 weeks) is Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, in-person and paid.
- Regular hours are 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM with rotating days off:
- Sunday/Monday
- Tuesday/Saturday
- Thursday/Saturday
- Friday/Sunday
- After training, the role is hybrid: 3 days in the office, 2 days remote.
Compensation
- $40,000 annually
- Bi-annual bonuses
