Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Management and Strategy team. The ideal candidate will assist in analyzing financial data, developing financial models, and supporting strategic initiatives to drive informed decision-making. Key Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis: Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Data Management: Collect, organize, and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the budgeting and forecasting process by preparing data, creating financial models, and analyzing budget vs. actual performance.
- Strategic Support: Contribute to strategic planning initiatives by performing financial modeling and scenario analysis to support business decisions.
- Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Process Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements to financial processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Compliance: Ensure financial activities comply with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role. Internships or relevant project work may be considered.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
- Knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting principles.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Preferred: Familiarity with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
