I am currently looking to speak with Machine Learning Scientists who have prior experience or a passion for the latest advancements within Biology.
This is a fantastic Opportunity for someone fresh out of a PhD or looking to take their career to the next level by working the forefront of AI within Life sciences.
As a Research Scientist, you will focus on developing and implementing innovative algorithms, while also exploring and evaluating cutting-edge research ideas in areas such as multi-round experimental design, active learning, Bayesian optimization, model-based reinforcement learning, large language models, representation learning, and uncertainty quantification. Your work will address key challenges in biological sequence design.
Other Responsibilities:
- Develop and apply innovative research on Bayesian experimental design to optimize biological sequences through multiple rounds of experimentation.
- Contribute to team research and publish results at leading journal and conference venues.
- Report and present experimental results and research findings, both internally and externally, verbally and in writing.
- Collaborate internally with your colleagues / Team Members and externally with global industry leaders to meet Research goals.
Your Background:
- Ms or PhD in Computational Biology, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning or a related scientific field.
- Practical knowledge of modern deep learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), Bayesian optimization, and reinforcement learning.
- Hands on Experience with Deep Learning Frameworks i.e. Pytorch or Tensorflow.
- Software development skills in Python.
