Desktop Support/Network Technician - Madera, CA
Compensation: $25 to $30 per hour
: Nexus HR is looking for an experienced IT Associate to function as a Desktop Support Technician and as a Network Technician for a dynamic enterprise IT Consulting firm, committed to providing top-notch technology solutions to our clients.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Setup, support, and maintain the following technologies
- Network equipment, switches, access points, routers, user workstations, laptops, desktops, thin clients, and more.
- User software applications, general apps, ERP software, etc.
- VMWare and Citrix environments
- Sonicwall and Sophos firewalls,
- Barracuda & Email Security appliances and software
- Storagecraft & Veeam backup software
- Single Exchange deployments to Exchange DAG and O365
- Cisco, HP, and Ubiquiti switches
- Cloud-based systems such as Azure, o365, and AWS
- EnGenius and Ubiquiti Wireless Access Points
Provide onsite technical support to clients, including hardware, software, and networking troubleshooting.
Support and maintain user workstations, laptops, desktops, thin clients, and other devices.
Install and configure user software applications, general apps, ERP software, etc.
Set up and provide support for printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
Manage inventory, including disposal and intake of technology assets.
Document all activities, including troubleshooting steps, solutions, and configurations.
Work closely with team members to ensure seamless operations and effective change management.
Demonstrate self-sufficiency and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Uphold the company's mission and values while delivering exceptional service to clients.
Maintain extensive knowledge and experience with all technology, tools and operations in force with our clients
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of desktop or network support experience or any technically relevant roles
- Any relevant bachelor’s degree
- Any related technology and network-related certifications are preferred
- Strong knowledge in most of the following:
- Microsoft domain networks, Server 2003 through to Server 2022, and server migrations
- Multi-site VPN connections
- High-availability servers and networks
- redundant voice PBX
- Exchange & O365 deployments
- SQL server management
Ability to accurately and consistently document all tasks and procedures performed
Able to work in Madera, CA
Able to travel at least 25>#/p###
