Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting various HR functions, including onboarding, offboarding, employee engagement, and HRIS management. Your contributions will significantly impact our employees’ experiences and help drive our mission forward.
Responsibilities
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage all aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding, including coordinating with IT, updating systems, conducting exit surveys, and ensuring legal compliance.
- Employee Support: Act as the first point of contact for HR, providing excellent customer service and resolving initial employee queries.
- Employee Engagement: Propose and execute innovative activities related to employee engagement, well-being, education, and company values. Stay updated on HR best practices and trends.
- HRIS Management: Maintain and update employee data in our HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring accuracy and generating reports to support HR initiatives.
- Event Coordination: Administer employee engagement committee activities and manage events to ensure a successful experience for all.
- Internship Program: Organize and oversee the internship program, including recruitment, implementation, and educational activities.
- Recognition Programs: Oversee Employee Referral and Employee Recognition programs, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Payroll Liaison: Act as a liaison between HR and Payroll to ensure accurate employee compensation, including role changes, termination payouts, and other pay items.
- Learning Management: Serve as the system administrator for our Learning Management System (LMS), assigning courses, tracking training, and running reports.
- Additional Tasks: Assist with other tasks as needed, such as expense reports, compliance matters, labor law posters, employee relations, and town hall presentations.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- 2-4 years of previous HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR systems, policies, and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and employment law.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and independently drive projects forward.
- Sound and ethical decision-making capabilities.
- Agility, adaptability, and a willingness to learn and grow.
Preferred
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP).
- Experience with ADP HRIS system.
- Previous experience working in a multi-location organization with a remote workforce.
Travel Requirements: Limited travel may be required.
