Job Title: Junior Accountant
Location: Fremont, CA
Type: Contract to Hire
Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year
Key Responsibilities:
- General Ledger Management: Assist in the preparation and maintenance of general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures.
- Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Support: Provide support for AP and AR functions, including processing invoices, handling vendor and customer inquiries, and ensuring timely and accurate payment processing.
- Payroll Support: Assist in payroll processing for 60-70 employees, including data entry, verification of timekeeping, and addressing payroll-related queries.
- Software Utilization: Work with Sage Software and MIE Trak Pro to manage and streamline accounting processes. Experience with these systems is a plus.
- Reporting: Prepare financial reports and assist in financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency with general ledger functions and accounting principles.
- Experience with Sage Software and MIE Trak Pro is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
