Description
Join a dedicated medical facility focused on providing comprehensive care for the frail and elderly population. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality ambulatory clinic care and maintaining efficient clinic operations. Under the guidance of the Clinical Services Director (CSD), you will organize and direct day-to-day operations, oversee clinic staff, and coordinate workflows to ensure effective clinical services.
You will be instrumental in people development and management, ensuring that all clinic policies and workflows are clearly understood and adhered to by the team.
Essential Job Duties
- Operate a high-performing, well-equipped, and safe clinic while ensuring workflow efficiency and clarity.
- Hire, retain, coach, and develop the RN Case Managers, Clinic RNs, Medical Assistants, and other team members to promote engagement and well-being.
- Analyze data to identify trends, strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities, performing root cause analysis and making recommendations to the CSD for continuous improvement.
- Ensure nursing and clinic staff deliver and document interventions as per participants' care plans, including responding to physician orders and participating in care planning.
- Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of coordination and services in collaboration with medical practice leadership and relevant disciplines.
- Serve as the audit lead for clinical and nursing elements during CMS/DHCS audit reviews, in partnership with the CSD and Quality Improvement Director.
- Develop and monitor corrective action plans to ensure ongoing compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related healthcare field preferred; professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Unencumbered registered nurse (RN) state license required.
- 3+ years of leadership experience overseeing an ambulatory clinic operation, including RN, LVN, and MA staff; equivalent nurse leader experience in a high-volume outpatient setting may be substituted.
- 2+ years of process development and implementation experience.
- 2+ years of clinical metric management/team metric management experience.
- 2+ years of mock audit and audit report management experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a clinical setting with a frail or elderly population required.
