About The Role
Media Monks Data Consulting team is seeks an Enterprise Consultant specializing in Insights on our Amazon team to support paid media initiatives across Prime, Retail, and Brand big rocks. This position will be responsible for providing insights and actionable recommendations to improve paid media effectiveness, utilizing Amazon internal and 3rd Party data. In addition, you will analyze media campaign performance, marketing investment, and provide strategic recommendations to the Media team.
Responsibilities
- Work in conjunction with Paid Media team and Client Activation teams to analyze cross-channel campaign tactics (Digital and Traditional) and provide optimizations and recommendations
- Oversee development of analytical plans including proper selection of methodologies, techniques, KPIs and metrics
- Partner with Product teams and Client Data Operations teams to generate insightful visualizations and dashboards to depict trends in data, inform recommendations, develop benchmarks, etc.
- Partner with media agency Analytics team to align on analytics roadmap, KPIs, and ensure consistent information exchange
- Serve as thought leader internally, writing POV’s on industry trends and new technologies in the analytics area
- Assist Client Data Operations team with any operational needs such as raw data compilation and synthesis, data esports and QA, tagging and trafficking, etc.
Media Analytics & Measurement Thought Leadership
- Develop mental models on media measurement and define success metrics across Big Rocks and the funnel, identifying how, when, why we leverage different metrics and tools across campaigns
- Seek opportunities to further measurement capabilities (3P and internal), addressing gaps in data sets with partnership teams
- Build and maintain learning agenda and measurement plan and partner with MODE activation on an experiment/testing roadmap
- Help drive measurement tool/product roadmap and innovation in partnership with MODE product/RAFT, assisting with recommendations to enhance dashboard and insights on behalf of cross-channel media team
- Liaison with CMO and Portfolio on specific media needs and requirements on behalf of cross-channel media team
Campaign Reporting
- Develop and own a template for bi-weekly leadership executive summary (mid funnel) and post campaign template (HVEs, Big Bet) across all live campaigns
- Bi-weekly Mid Funnel Reporting (Prime and Brand/Retail mid funnel campaigns) for MODE and ADA managed. Includes deep dive analysis, condensing into narrative format and distilling further into executive summary for leadership.
- Big Bet/HVE campaign post campaign reporting and executive summary for leadership across MODE, ADA, and Rufus
- Gather and collect data to input into CBR in partnership with media managers
Premium Video Reporting & Optimization Management
- Develop and maintain optimization mechanism to allow for more frequent (during Options and in-campaign) and more granular (partner level) optimizations to our premium video buy across Upfront and Scatter, leveraging all data available to us (ACE, Attention, Brand, D+M, etc.)
- Establish tracker and mechanisms for 1000bps waste reduction in frequency for TV + POLV
- Pull past year of data in refreshed sample from Data + Math for 2023-Q1 2024 to see how we’re performing quarterly, by campaign against our frequency across demographics
- Elevate observations at publisher level and report monthly a summary for tracking and optimization purposes
Attention Tracking & Management
- Pull post campaign impressions for MODE digital and Social from Adelaide for assessing AU level impressions.
- Compare digital Adelaide and DoubleVerify for Q1-Q3 campaigns.
- Manage pre-campaign estimates of aCPM calculation with data leveraging post campaign reports and forecasting new campaign based on planned CPM
- Ongoing recommendations for optimization to track against aCPM improvement by 500bps in 2024 collectively across all campaigns.

About You
- 3-6 years of analytics, performance reporting and strategy
- Comfortable writing insights and developing points of views to develop meaningful learning agendas that push the business forward
- Passion for digital marketing and emerging trends in the digital landscape
- Experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders at a variety of levels
- Fluency with Excel (including pivot tables and vlookups)
- Comfortable in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Deep knowledge of and experience working with major ad-tech / mar-tech stacks (e.g. Google, Adobe, Amazon, Facebook, Oracle, SFDC), inclusive of DSPs, ad servers, web analytics platforms, DCO and CRM
