Computer Vision Engineer – 2+ years of experience , salary 80,000-120,000
Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Computer Vision Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer vision, machine learning, and image processing. You will play a critical role in developing and enhancing our AI-driven fall prevention systems, working closely with our AI researchers, data scientists, and product development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement computer vision algorithms for real-time fall detection and prevention systems.
- Work with large datasets, including video and image data, to train and validate machine learning models.
- Optimize and deploy computer vision models on various platforms, ensuring efficient performance in real-time applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate computer vision solutions into our fall prevention products.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer vision and AI, and apply these innovations to enhance our technology.
- Perform data analysis and contribute to the creation of new datasets to improve model accuracy and reliability.
- Develop tools and pipelines for data preprocessing, augmentation, and model training.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues related to computer vision applications.
- Document algorithms, processes, and software to ensure knowledge transfer and team alignment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on computer vision, machine learning, or artificial intelligence.
- 2+ years of experience in computer vision and image processing.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as Pytorch, Tensorflow
- Strong understanding of algorithms and techniques for object detection, tracking, segmentation, and image classification.
- Experience with deploying models on edge devices or embedded systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of OpenCV or other computer vision libraries.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for model deployment is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in healthcare or safety-related AI applications.
- Knowledge of sensor fusion techniques, integrating data from various sources such as cameras, LIDAR, and accelerometers.
- Understanding of human pose estimation and activity recognition.
Familiarity with software development best practices, including version control (Git), CI/CD, and Agile methodologies
