As a Senior Analyst of Corporate Finance, you’ll play a key role in shaping the financial strategy of our dynamic, fast-evolving organization. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Finance, you’ll collaborate with a range of cross-functional teams to deliver insightful business analyses that drive data-informed decision-making across the company. Your contributions will be crucial in supporting our continued growth and innovation in the IoT space.
Responsibilities
- Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Develop and implement financial strategies that support long-term stability and growth within the SaaS sector.
- Work closely with teams across the company to gather and analyze financial data, offering vital support for business decisions.
- Conduct detailed financial analyses to identify opportunities for improvement, cost savings, revenue growth, and enhanced customer lifetime value.
- Support market initiatives by evaluating and prioritizing potential opportunities.
- Manage a continuous planning cycle for company revenues and operating expenses, enabling agile decision-making.
- Sales Operations:
- Collaborate with the Sales team and senior management to manage monthly revenue forecasts.
- Provide transparency into the sales pipeline, including key metrics for evaluation and management.
- Monitor and evaluate the financial performance of products and subscription models.
- Assist in sales execution through margin and pricing analysis.
- Work with Business Unit leaders and executive leadership to manage an effective and transparent system for variable compensation.
- Procurement and Supply Chain Management:
- Gather intelligence to support a prioritized procurement agenda focused on cost optimization.
- Analyze supply chain logistics for hardware components of our product offerings.
- Support the creation of an integrated procurement structure in collaboration with finance and procurement teams from global subsidiaries.
Qualifications
- Strong critical thinking skills, sound judgment, and a thoughtful approach.
- 3-5 years of experience in a top-tier corporate FP&A function, with a focus on developing financial models for operational decision-making.
- A strong educational background in Finance, Business, Data Visualization, or Economics; an MBA is a plus but not required.
- Proven experience in building financial reports from the ground up, ideally in a startup environment.
- Expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and reporting, with a focus on process and operational excellence.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including VBA and macro creation; experience with BI modeling tools like Qlikview, PowerBI, Python, or R is highly valued.
- Practical experience in the technology industry, particularly within a SaaS-based company, is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
