Description
Location: This position is onsite at 4101 Percival Road, Columbia, SC 29229.
What You'll Do
- Extract data from multiple systems and departments using various data manipulation and extraction techniques for regular, cyclical, and ad hoc reporting.
- Perform research, analyze reports, and create statistical models for presentation/review. Summarize findings and communicate results to management.
- Identify operational inadequacies and use various skills and resources to retool processes.
- Communicates with other areas regarding outcomes and reporting.
To Qualify For This Position, You'll Need
- Required Education: A bachelor’s or Associate’s degree and 2 years of work-related experience.
- Degree equivalency: Four (4) years of related experience.
- Required Software and tools: Microsoft Office. Microsoft Office. Ability to acquire programming skills across various software platforms.
- Required Skills and Abilities: Good organizational, customer service, communications, and analytical skills. Ability to use complex mathematical calculations and understand mathematical and statistical concepts. Knowledge of relevant computer support systems.
We Prefer That You Have The Following
- Knowledge of or experience with IBM Cognos Analytics or other BI
- Knowledge of or experience with Microsoft Access
- Knowledge of or experience with using SQL in a DB2 environment or other SQL-based application
