A Creative Strategist, Culture + Lifestyle at hi5.agency is a key contributor to the strategic vision and development of creative campaigns, with a primary focus on Vans and brands in both lifestyle and technology spaces. They are responsible for distilling research and analytics to develop insights that bring creative briefs to life, inspiring our team to push the boundaries of innovation toward the award-winning standard that hi5.agency is known for. Driven by a natural curiosity, they have a deep understanding of human behavior and an unparalleled creative spirit.
This role reports to the Head of Strategy + DEI.

Responsibilities:
- Be immersed in cultures and subcultures relevant to our work, identifying trends shaping the industry both online and IRL
- Develop insights and strategic approaches that reflect a global perspective and result in truly innovative work
- Lead inspiring ideation sessions to ensure they meet the hi5.agency standards of excellence
- Collaborate with Producers, Creative, and Social Leads to ensure deliverables are presented on time and are aligned with client expectations
- Present research and recommendations confidently, to internal teams as well as client partners
- Identify and understand core audience segments, shaping personas and corresponding approaches
- Distill information from clients to develop insight-driven creative briefs that inspire across verticals
- Act as the strategic lead for core accounts, helping to shape our approach and ensuring that we always put forth our best work internally as well as in front of our client partners
- Continually look for ways to push hi5.agency forward, improving our work output and internal processes
- Translate big ideas into actionable concepts that can ”break through the clutter”
- Promote a culture of innovation and collaboration while adhering to agency process
- Always be punctual and effectively manage your time while communicating proactively

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- 3+ years in fashion / lifestyle creative + social media advertising or equal time on a Strategy team with proven success on global campaigns and building communities
- Analytical skills and research experience, with a deep understanding of Millennial & Gen Z demographics
- Receive constructive criticism with grace and implement change proactively
- Strong presentation skills, with a background in public speaking and/or presenting
- Experience managing a 360-integrated campaign from brief to execution and beyond
- Exceptional written communication skills with flawless spelling and grammar
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced and deadline-focused environment driven to produce world-class results
- In the possession of an ego-free personality that can work with a highly motivated team to get shit done
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of skate culture is a plus. Bonus points for fans of Pickles the skateboarding frog.
