Weld Capital Partners (Commercial Real Estate Developer) has recently formed a joint venture: a scalable hotel strategy in Florida under a new banner, Haven Holdings. Increased marketing and administrative capability is needed for this new group comprised of multiple, regional and National hospitality groups. Weld acts as a boutique Alternative Investment Finance, Capital Formation, and Strategic Advisory Group based in Manhattan. They have served as Principal and Fund Manager in multiple CRE strategies in the recent past. They operate on a National level in multiple asset classes, focusing on transparency, honesty, and bespoke advisory services for their partners and clientele. Their discreet investment offerings (alongside institutional partners) have produced consistently high, risk-adjusted returns. Weld structures and executes on these investment and development opportunities by leveraging extensive networks of developers, sponsors, and investors.
Role Description
This is a remote role for a Sales and Marketing Intern. Tri-State area or Florida a plus. You will be focusing on putting together and executing on a markering strategy for the new Florida hotels we will be acquiring. Working directly with the Managing Partners, top marketing companies, and SaaS and technology advisors, you will help devise and execute on a $10M+ (per project) initiative. There will be intern level tasks associated with this job including data entry, executive assistant functions, and overall responsibility for organizing project materials when needed.
Compensation:
1) small per project fees
2) Significant bonus each time a Haven hotel project is fully funded (by entire team efforts)
3) Ability to gain investment and/or minority ownership position in projects (for exemplary performance).
The candidate(s) will be responsible for tasks including online and digital communication with potential investors through multiple platforms (including Appfolio, business email, LinkedIn, etc). Also new investor identification, research and outreach is required. Participating in sales and marketing activities and strategies alongside SaaS and CRM consultants will be a large part of the role. Receiving training in sales and marketing management, and supporting the sales team in various projects. Joining in on meetings with the Executives of both Weld and Haven to track progress and learn all aspects of boutique hotel acquisition strategy and project cycles will be common. The right candidate will be curious to learn more and this is also a learning internship where learning by doing and Q&A is encouraged!
Qualifications

- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Business Development Experience (real estate or other industry)
- Natural Sales and Marketing prowess
- Powerpoint proficiency a big plus
- Attention to detail and executing on directives given is critical
- Ability to work independently AND in a team environment
- Pursuing a degree in CRE, Business, Marketing, or related field a plus
