Recruiting Coordinator
Work Arrangement:
- Hybrid: Report to the Mountainview, California office at least three times per week, up to five times as needed.
The Role:
- The Global Talent Acquisition (GTA) Team seeks a Coordinator passionate about providing excellent customer service to North American candidates.
- Key traits include a customer service focus, passion for candidate care, and a drive to improve or automate processes.
- Partner with Recruiters to deliver a candidate-centric hiring experience, requiring expert judgment and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule complex interviews with excellent candidate care.
- Manage scheduling conflicts and calendar changes.
- Educate Recruiters and stakeholders on interview scheduling tools.
- Provide outstanding candidate care and timely feedback to Candidates, Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and HR Partners.
- Offer in-person candidate greeting and onsite interview support.
- Monitor background checks and drug screens, providing status updates and escalations to ensure timely start dates.
- Manage and maintain candidate trackers in alignment with the Applicant Tracking System and pre-employment results.
- Communicate challenges throughout the recruiting, interviewing, and pre-employment process to the recruiting team.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products (Outlook, Excel, Teams).
- Ability to quickly learn new processes and recruiting technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal customer service skills.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Minimum of 3 years supporting recruiting activities in a Coordinator capacity, including complex interview scheduling and monitoring background checks with adjudication.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (particularly Workday) and background check vendor tools (like HireRight).
- Previous experience supporting recruitment of technical roles in a fast-paced environment, particularly in big tech companies.
