Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Client Manager (ACM) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Client Managers and project teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality products to our clients. What You'll Do
Project Management:
- Define the scope of work and communicate client standards to the team.
- Oversee overall project quality control and prepare project files and folders.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, designers, and technicians to ensure project success.
- Communicate client feedback and redlines to the team for implementation.
- Assist in preparing and executing consultant contracts.
- Liaise with vendors and contractors to incorporate necessary information into projects.
SWAT Focus
- Manage quick-turn projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Assist in external communications, including email management.
- Support client managers in obtaining signed add-services and updating client-requested spreadsheets.
- Expedite project requests and assist in quality control reviews.
Leadership & Teamwork
- Foster a collaborative and professional working relationship within project teams.
- Mentor team members on client standards and best practices.
- Develop and validate project scope, fee, budget, and services.
- Ensure design intent is consistently and properly executed across all stages.
- Maintain consistent and timely communication with clients and project teams.
Client Interface
- Build and nurture positive relationships with clients and their representatives.
- Act as a key point of contact for communication and trust-building with clients.
Skills
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of design, construction methodology, and architectural building systems.
- Proficiency in CAD drafting, with advanced skills in Revit preferred.
- Strong visual, graphic presentation, and advanced design skills.
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes and building codes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking.
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, interior design, or engineering preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in the construction industry.
- Proven organizational skills and the ability to work effectively with project teams.
