Description
We are excited to invite applications for the position of Senior Scrum Leader to join a leading identity cloud software and web services company. In this role, you will be a key player in our Engineering Infrastructure TPM team, leading and coaching Service Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams in adopting and refining Agile practices, all while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with SRE Scrum Teams to develop and implement effective Agile practices, ensuring seamless processes for intake, triage, grooming, planning, and execution.
- Serve as a mentor and guide for our teams, enhancing their operational maturity and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Lead Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, while training team members in the Scrum Master role.
- Oversee the cleanup of backlogs, intake processes, sprint boards, and dashboards, ensuring all internal stories are written with high quality.
- Identify and resolve obstacles that impact team velocity, promoting continuous improvement through feedback sessions.
- Develop effective methods for managing stakeholders, communicating status, and addressing risks and issues.
- Assist teams in managing their quarterly roadmaps and ensure adherence to Agile principles.
- Develop and maintain internal Agile documentation for team reference.
Skills And Qualifications
- At least 3 years as a Scrum Master in a product development organization.
- Strong knowledge of Agile principles and practices, with experience in technical project management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies.
- Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SRE or Infrastructure teams working on cloud-hosted products.
- Certifications in Agile methodologies, such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
- SAFe and Kanban certifications are a plus.
