JobDescription: The Engineer will support the development of advanced machine learning algorithms to support advanced price forecasting, market bidding behavior and portfolio optimization.
Job Responsibilities:
· Development and enhance machine learning algorithms to support short- and long-term forecasting of electricity
· Develop mathematical approaches and methodologies to support new features on the Distributed Energy Asset Analysis Platform
· Identify, research, and analyze new data sources to improve model accuracy.
· Apply statistical or machine learning/deep learning knowledge to specific business problems
Required Qualifications:
· Power System Studies, Power Systems and Electrical Engineering Skills
· Experience in Power Generation and Transmission
· Proficiency in AI and machine learning tools
· Advanced Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
· 3-5 years of machine learning experience
· 3-5 years of power industry experience
· Advanced knowledge in model evaluation, tuning and performance
· Advanced proficiency in Python and PyTorch.
· Knowledge of numerical methods and statistical analysis
· Ability to work and communicate well in teams.
· Work well remotely.
