RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is primarily responsible for accurate Laytime calculations and assisting the area of Controlling-Accounting as needed.
- Calculate Despatches, Detentions, and Demurrage Claims generated by the loading and discharging activities.
- Prepare management reports regarding various KPIs including Laytimes and Accounting.
- Coordinate the invoicing of Laytime to clients.
- Collect Final Freight Invoice (FFI) balances.
- Post FFI payments in Softmar and SAP, and other entries as needed.
- Maintain an orderly e-filing and assist in data entry, invoicing, collection for the areas of Controlling and Accounting.

SKILLS:
- Bilingual English and Spanish

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree
- General math and data entry skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: intermediate or advanced Excel.
- Proficiency in SAP preferred.
- Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable/Accounting Assistant experience
