Sr. Power BI Developer
As a Sr. Power BI Developer, you are responsible for leading hands-on development initiatives and steering the creation of integrated reports and dashboards to meet the diverse needs of various business sectors. Proficient in multiple modern BI tools, you possess a deep-seated ambition to leverage industry-leading platforms. Operating adeptly in a tool-agnostic manner, your extensive BI acumen and core SQL expertise enable you to adapt to new technologies swiftly.
Responsibilities
· Collaborate with Solution Architects and Analytics Architects to define strategic directions for BI development initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
· Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of complex technical solutions daily, ensuring the delivery of high-quality BI solutions that meet project objectives.
· Engage directly in daily hands-on development activities, leveraging expertise in Power BI and related technologies to guide the team and ensure the quality of deliverables.
· Act as the primary point of contact for daily problem-solving and troubleshooting of complex technical issues, ensuring project momentum and promptly addressing any roadblocks.
Sr. Power BI Developer | Skills & Experience
· 8+ years of professional experience working in a technical role with the last 5 years focused on BI development, demonstrating a deep understanding of the field.
· Proficient in at least two BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, QlikView, Alteryx) and Microsoft BI Stack (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS), with advanced T-SQL skills.
· Extensive experience with healthcare data and optimizing SQL, Stored Procedures, SSIS packages, Power Query transformations, and DAX calculations.
· Adept at user-centric design for creating intuitive and effective dashboards.
· Proven leader in guiding cross-functional teams, providing mentorship, and fostering a high-performance culture.
