We are seeking an enthusiastic, high energy, data driven and creative Asst. Ecommerce Manager to lead and drive the performance of our ecommerce channels across the enterprise. Reporting to the VP of Digital Marketing & Merchandising this position will be responsible supporting the key strategic business initiatives developed to drive demand and engagement through the entire marketing funnel by serving as a day-to-day strategic eCommerce expert for the Performance Ecommerce Marketing department. This eCommerce Channel Manager must be a champion for a digital customer approach, utilizing and understanding our digital eco-system to allow for business growth and optimization at every touchpoint. The eCommerce Channel Manager role collaborates closely with internal partners to understand business goals, audiences and business processes to develop robust test and learn plans to enable data driven strategies that optimize our Web channels to deliver on financial goals while maximizing the customer experience.
The role will be a key player in developing web testing plans, driving the eCommerce retail merchandising strategy for different audiences and identifying transaction path-to-purchase enhancements opportunities. This role will partner closely with cross-functional partners to understand audience behavior and channel analytics to optimize the customer booking experience through the end-to-end customer journey. The eCommerce Channel Manager will also bring industry and channel best practices and insights to the team to ensure that channel ROI and customer experience are optimized, and best practices are infused into programs.
Asst. Ecommerce Manager Responsibilities:
This position is focused on developing growth strategy, leading the optimization of the website, and improving the overall customer experience. This role has a passion for process and delivering meaningful business results. Will work closely with marketing, IT, and sales teams to bring our brand and product to life across all branded websites. Decision maker with a proven track record of managing site performance KPIs and interpreting into data-driven optimization
- Partner across the business to define, plan and develop a robust roadmap focusing on performance measurement, path-to-purchase enhancement, retail merchandising and eCommerce engagement strategies leveraging industry, audience and channel insights.
- Develop robust test and learn plans to measure and track the performance of how channel automated efforts are impacting our marketing campaigns and customer experience, identifying areas to optimize and improve how we leverage our CRM channels to engage our leads and owners.
- Develop deep industry and channel insights through measurement and analytics as well as consistent industry/channel research on best practices. Continuously hone new insights on retail eCommerce merchandising and transactional optimizations to share across the Performance Marketing team.
- Plan and lead the eCommerce channel strategy that fully utilizes our channel abilities to maximize the path-to-purchase while driving Brand engagement through every stage of the consumer journey.
- Monitor and analyze site sales performance and implement data driven strategies to improve results.
- Enhance the online shopping journey by optimizing the check-out process, site navigation and search functionality.
- Improve site conversion through various A/B testing and personalization strategies.
- Develop and maintain key site performance metrics reporting.
- Leverage web analytics to understand customers online shopping journey & identify conversion roadblocks / areas for improvement
- Identify trends and opportunities for growth with emerging technologies

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- BA/BS in Business, Marketing, or Communications or equivalent experience
- 2-3+ years of direct experience in eCommerce/Web Marketing or Digital Marketing
- 2-3+ years of marketing measurement/analytics experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience creating engaging robust testing agendas and developing data driven channel strategies and maximize customer experience and financial performance.
- Strong understanding of B2C eCommerce best practices and web UI/UX principles
- Track record of developing path-to-purchase retail strategies resulting in solid business results.
- Experience in measuring web engagement metrics.
- Understanding of eCommerce and industry best practices.
- Possess the ability to clearly communicate complex data and testing information to a diverse group of stakeholders.
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and strong attention to detail and work ethic.
- Proficient in prioritizing and organizing assignments.
- Possess well-developed judgment, interpersonal and communication skills.
