This is an office-based position.
Responsibilities
As an Agile Coach, you will play a crucial role in guiding our teams towards agile excellence. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and enhance agile methodologies, ensuring that our processes are efficient, transparent, and aligned with our business goals. Your expertise will help us create a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Coach and mentor teams on agile principles, practices, and frameworks with a focus on scaling agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Lean).
- Assist Scrum Masters with agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Identify and address impediments to team productivity and delivery.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Provide training and workshops to teams and individuals on agile methodologies.
- Assess the maturity of teams and develop strategies to enhance their agile capabilities.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment that encourages open communication and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- 15+ years relevant experience as an Agile Coach or similar role in a software development environment.
- Strong understanding of agile principles and practices.
- Experience in the introduction and implementation of scaled agile in organizations.
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in agile methodologies (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, PMI-ACP) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
