The Lead Project Manager will oversee and drive the success of our construction and cabinetry projects by managing both financial and scheduling aspects. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical skills, a solid background in project management, and hands-on experience in construction and cabinet making. The ideal candidate will be adept at improving project timelines, leveraging PM software, and guiding projects to successful completion.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Oversight: Develop and implement strategic plans for construction projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for projects. Monitor and control project costs to ensure financial targets are met.
- Scheduling: Manage project timelines and improve scheduling processes to ensure timely project completion. Coordinate with team members to optimize project delivery dates.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize technical skills to address and resolve project challenges, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Project Management: Apply Project Management Professional (PMP) principles to effectively plan, execute, and close projects. Ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards.
- ERP Software: Leverage ERP software for project tracking, resource management, and reporting. Experience with specific ERP platforms is a plus.
- Construction Management: Oversee construction processes, with a focus on woodworking projects. Ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
- Cabinet Making Knowledge: Utilize past experience in cabinet making to inform project decisions and ensure high-quality craftsmanship.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in construction project management, including residential and/or commercial millwork.
- Leadership: Proven experience in a leadership role, with a track record of successful project management and team leadership.
- Certification: PMP certification is required.
- Technical Skills:
- Microsoft Office Suite: Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with the ability to create and manage high-quality documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Construction and Woodworking Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction techniques and woodworking principles, with hands-on experience in applying these skills in project settings.
- Project Management and ERP Software: Proficient in using project management tools and ERP systems to streamline project processes, track progress, and manage resources efficiently.
- Technical Analysis: Strong ability to interpret and analyze technical drawings and specifications, including a thorough understanding of millwork and its applications.
- CAD and Drafting Software: Extensive experience with CAD and other industry-standard drafting software, with a deep understanding of technical drawings and design principles, enabling precise review and modification of designs.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and the ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders. Excellent organizational, communication skills and time-management skills. Strong ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
