In this multifaceted role, the Order Processing Specialist will play a crucial role to support and drive multiple departments, including, but not limited to, Purchasing, Sourcing, Operations, Sales, and Customer Service. The Order Processing Specialist will assist with order entry and processing, data and file management, inventory tracking, customer and vendor follow up, and other departmental tasks.
The ideal candidate must have excellent attention to detail, be outgoing with strong communication, data entry, organizational, and computer skills. This position requires the ability to be flexible and multi-task in a fast-moving environment. Responsibilities
· Supporting the Supply Chain and Customer Service teams with detail-oriented data entry and other administrative tasks as assigned
· Monitor, maintain, and review internal tracking systems for data accuracy and make necessary updates
· Review purchase orders regularly and follow up on both confirmed and unconfirmed orders, past due items, and delivery schedules with vendors
· Reviewing customer orders and requests to ensure accuracy and compliance
· Reconcile vendor and logistical invoices to assure actual costs are aligned with projected costs
· Organizes and maintain internal filing systems
· Work with Inside Sales to facilitate customer follow up and opportunities for new business
· Partnering with and providing assistance to other associates and managers across departments to ensure departmental operations are aligned and run smoothly
· Identifies and mitigates risk, solves problems, and escalates as needed to Department Lead and/or Purchasing Manager
· Identifying opportunities for process improvement initiatives to streamline activities

Qualifications
· 4 year College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· 2 to 3 years of experience in any of the professional setting in any of the following areas: Data Entry, Customer Service, Logistics, Dispatching, Purchasing / Sourcing, Operations, or Scheduling
· Proficient in data / order entry with excellent typing abilities
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to pickup and retain knowledge quickly · Expertise with Microsoft Office software including advanced skillset with Excel, Word and Outlook
· Experience in database management and ERP systems, preferably Sage (MAS)
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
· Direct experience handling inbound and outbound service-related calls preferred
· A strong initiative, sense of urgency and creative problem-solving skills
· Must be able to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
· Effective planning, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
· Experience in the Human machine Interface industry (Membrane Switches, Graphic Overlays, Flexible Printed Circuits, etc.) or similar electronics manufacturing industry is preferred, but not required
