SUMMARY:
Paxton/Patterson (PP) works to provide the best college and career preparation for America’s youth by creating learning systems that engage students with problem-based, real-world technology. We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented buyer/sales assistant who will provide support to our team. Responsibilities include buyer-related communication with vendors, maintaining the CRM database, data entry for sales and communication with customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Supplier Communication: process vendor confirmations paying close attention to the order detail accuracy, delivery dates, assist buyer in resolving issues related to deliveries, and requests for invoices
- Inventory: create new inventory items, assist with the yearly physical inventory and price changes submitted
- E-commerce: add new items on the e-commerce platform, write copy, resize images, and obtain videos to established standards
- Update the CRM/MDR customer list and assist with marketing campaigns
- Provide general administrative support to purchasing, sales, and order entry
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or associate's degree
- 1 year experience in an office environment
- Proficient in keyboard typing and 10 Key
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and CRM is preferred
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
